Individual psychological therapy for adults
in mid- and late life

  • Improving quality of life when living with chronic health or mental health conditions

​We also offer therapeutic support for people living with early stage dementia or with mild cognitive impairment. Therapy is adapted and delivered in an evidence-based way for best outcomes. We can work collaboratively with our clients in including family members, partners and care staff to be a part of the treatment process, according to our clients' needs and preferences.​

Support for caregivers

We understand the important role that caregivers (partners, family members,

friends or care staff) play in supporting older adults living with dementia or other neurological disorders in the community.

We can help with:

  • Therapy and counselling supporting the wellbeing of caregivers, including building helpful coping strategies

  • Therapy and counselling support for workers in the aged care industry

Professional supervision

As a Psychology Board of Australia approved Supervisor, Shoma is able to provide professional supervision for Psychologists working within adult and older adult health and mental health contexts, including Psychologists undertaking the Clinical Psychology registrar program (please contact us for availability).

 

Shoma also enjoys working with and providing supervision to other Allied Health professionals  (e.g. Social Workers, Mental health clinicians, etc.) .
